Book teaser

I am still crazy busy in preparing my next two books but thought I would give you a little teaser shot of a project from 10 more simple, cosy projects.

I am so frustrated to be so busy when I have so many projects I want to cast on from the lastest Kim Hargreaves book Indigo and the lovely knitbot originals book.

However I am going on holiday for two weeks and hope that on my return all the work will have magically disappeared!

Little adventure

I have been away on a photo shoot for the next installment of my simple cosy knits book for the past couple of days and whilst it will be a little while before I can share pictures of the items I just thought I would show our lovely location.

The bivouac is a beautiful space in the Yorkshire dales. We stayed in one of their woodland shacks but they also have yurts on the same site. The shacks only opened this week so we were the second people to stay in the shack which was very exciting!

Mollie Makes makes my day

Sorry its been so long, I have been buried in work on two books to come out in the autumn - and a serious Pinterest addiction!

I arrived at the recent show at Olympia to be greeted by this beautiful quilted yurt where the lovely Mollie Makes girls were hanging out - talk about jealous!

Stitch and Craft show

I am just getting ready to head down to stitch and craft at Olympia. I am selling there on the Knit3tog stall as well as doing book signings with the lovely Martin Storey and Jennie Atkinson. Maybe see you there!

My friends have just got a beautiful new dog called Missy. Consequently they are always looking for great places to walk and introduced us to this beautiful pine forest filled with waterfalls (it felt almost magical!) so I thought I would share a few pictures.

Its been another exhausting week but I have tried to fit in some r and r as well as the endless knitting!

So in no particular order here are our walk in the woods, a visit to the intriguing Matlock. Also one of my closest friends has just moved to LA for at least six months and we had a Mexican themed meal at her house and all thought we would cheer her up with some fancy dress!

There may still by snow on the ground but I couldn't help put rescue this handknitted dress from ebay. I don't think I will ever fit into it and so dream of making one similar but just wanted it to have a good home.

I am afraid I am also drowning in pattern checking and designing so thought I would just share a couple of things I am really enjoying at the moment - stay warm!
