Well they say pride comes before a fall - after boasting of the glory of my holz and stein yesterday we saw their demise :( I was happily knitting away and stopped to rest, placed my work next to me on the sofa and my big clumsy cat jumps up and breaks the needle.

 However this did arrive in the post this morning so it has cheered me up a little.
